How to AutoIncrement ID if adding new Row in WebGrid

i have created a Webgrid with three Columns:

ID Place Name

I setted the ID Column to visible = "false", IsAutoincrement = "true". Iam working with a Oracle Database. In the Database i added Trigger for the Autoincrement of the ID.

My Problem is that if i try to add a Row in the WebGrid i getting a Error:

"ID" column does not allow nulls

but if i add a Row directly in the Database it works.

Why does the WebGrid do not an AutoIncrement?

Hierarchical Grid Cell Value

I have to get the value of a cell from a hierarchiacal grid. There are 3 tables (Root, Answers, Results). in the "OnRowSelect" event of my "Results" table I need to get the value of the "Answers" table "AnswerID" column.

How can I do this?

XHTML doctype issue

I'm a user of WebGrid7,

the questions:

1) If I use a doctype of "<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">", then the column headers are not aligned with the actual colums.

If I change the doctype to "<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN" >", then the WebGrid displays correctly, but I can't use this doctype, because the whole site is designed using the xhtml doctype. How do I get Webgrid7 to display correctly using the xhtml doctype?

It's very urgent!!!!!!!!

Webgrid 7 checkbox at specified row

I would like to add checkbox to rows in a table which has the main data.

previously, the code in InitializeRow event can function well.

but after i upgraded to webgrid 7, the code doesn't function well.

The checkbox column will show

instead of working like previously which shows checkbox in specified rows.

Do you have any ideas on the cause to the failure of the output?

freeze issue of WebGrid7

When some column has group or Hierarchical = true, i use mouse right click the first column header, and freeze the first column, then the second column freezed. not the first column freezed,

So i can't freeze the first column. is this a bug?

The webgrid version is 7.0.7200.403.

Am using Webgirid 7.0. With autofitcolumns=true and widths in percentage, the multilined columns are all messed up. I have posted a thread regarding this 7 days ago...Please check that. And i am not getting live chat at all. Its not because the time zone difference, if you gonna say that. Coz i tried it at your working time.. Please respond immediately. Its getting critical with project.
