Webgrid Update Command using Oracle 10g/11g

Hi,

I'm not totaly new to intersoft but i have little experience.

Ok my problem.

I want to use the webgrid functionality on a oracle Database Table. To keep it simple i copied the table columns from the Customer table Northwind and created one in a ORACLE Database so i could use the samples provided by Intersoft.

Doesnt mather what i try it always says could not find Non-generic method.

I removed the Create Insert,Delete combobox and made a custom update statement in the dataset.

The select query works perfect but whenever i want update it starts giving errors.

Is this possible?

ISDataSource with Oracle and third-party LINQ providers

I've been researching WebUI Studio for our UI and found references to ISDataSource on the website. We are using Oracle and looking at DevArt's dotConnect for Oracle product to provide LINQ and Entity Framework support in our data access layer.

Should I be looking at ISDataSource for our DA layer instead or is that beyond its designed purpose?

Hello, I am currently building a Task Management solution for a client. The dataflow etc is quite complex and Oracle is used as the backend database. Would the Scheduler control work with a DataSet that is connected to Oracle??

Webgrid + Intersoft Datasource query

Sir/Madam,

There is a scenario. I need to get the data from MS SQL Server and Oracle Databases.

I am using ISDatasource to get info and binding that is directly to Intersoft webgrid.

I need to edit this ISDatasource, to add additional info from Oracle Database, before this binding to webgrid.

Can you please help me in how to do this
