Hi Alexandre,

Thank you for the screenshot and from that error message I found a way to uninstall the premiere studio forcefully. Before following these instructions, I suggest you create a restore point in case something went wrong.

Run the following installer as administrator and have it installed to your computer. Then open it, choose Intersoft Premier Studio and click Remove.
After that, make sure the Intersoft Solutions installation folder is deleted.
Then, check the Registry Editor in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Wow6432Node for Intersoft Solutions directory, remove them as well.
Finally, install Premier Studio 2016 R1 on your computer.

I just tried it with 2014 R1 and 2014 R2 installer, and still the problem didn't occur. Would you please willingly to send any screenshots or error messages that are shown on your end? I would really appreciate it as it'd be easier for me to determine the issue.

the previous version I have is 2014 not 2015.

Hi Alexandre,

I tried replicating your issue by installing the 2015 R1 version and then had the 2016 R1 version installed. Unfortunately, the issue couldn't be replicated. The previous version successfully removed without any problems occurred.

Could you tell me what error message that shows on your end? Are there any steps that I should follow to replicate it?

Hi,

I'm trying to install Intersoft Studio 2016 and it fails during the uninstall process of the previous version.

I also tried to uninstall the old version manually, it also fails.

Is there a way to either force the installation of version 2016 or force the uninstallation of the old version ?
