Hi Thomas,

Actually if you are using our push notification, our library contain no encryption, so just select no in iTunes Connect. The rest is handled by each platform's store so we no longer have anything to worry about encryption.

Hello Crosslight Support,

I want to include Push Notifications (Apple, Google, Microsoft) in my next app. Reading many blog posts and forum entries I am totally unsure if I can do this without breaking export rules.

So, you are the experts and I think you have submitted many apps to the different app stores. Hopefully apps which use Push Notification, too. Does using Push Notification in an app mean that the app uses encryption and therefore the app needs an ERN from the bureau of industry and security?

The app will be free of charge and available to everybody.

Some clarification would be nice.
