Hi Leo,

Our other iOS developer said it was actually easy to implement!,

You can use custom carousel and implement the zoom features (pinch gesture) there in the cell view (you can use Xamarin method: http://developer.xamarin.com/recipes/ios/content_controls/scroll_view/zoom_a_scrollview/), i will create a simple sample for you, but if you are interest you can try it.

I know that it should be a little hard.
As you know, the CollectionViewController has its own zoom in/out functions, but in carousel view I cannot invoke these methods. That's why I request for help.

Maybe you can give me some advisements how to implement it manually..

Hey Leo,

Based from talk with our developer, we think that's is not a good implementation and can make user confuse especially if you can zoom in and zoom out in the carousel,

however i see that this kind of pattern is useful considering it was used in Photo Gallery, but still it will hard to maintain the interaction between rotate state and swipe state.

It was however doable if you want to do it manually.

But we will take note about this feature, and we will inform you whether will be supported or not.

As you know sometimes we need to check image in detail. The UICarouselView is a good view for show images, if it supports zooming in or zooming out feature, that will be perfect.
