Hi Nelson,

Project Wizard for Xamarin Mac is not yet available, meanwhile we suggest you to use Project Wizard from Visual Studio then move the project directory to Mac

Project Wizard is a planned feature for Crosslight 4, you can check more about Crosslight 4 in Crosslight Roadmap for 2015 which scheduled to live by the end of this week.

I'll update this thread with the link of the Crosslight roadmap.

I have installed Mobile Studio 2014 R2 on Mac Os X (Yosemite), but when I use Xamarin Studio 5.7 I don't see the Crosslight Project Wizard for Mac available for a New Project.

Have this shipped with the latest version of Crosslight (3.2)? Or in which version will it be available? I am just starting with a Crosslight trial and it seems difficult to start a project from scratch without the help of the wizard.

Glad to hear that the updated installer now work flawlessly.

The Crosslight Project Wizard for Mac was dropped in this release due to the complexity and many aspects related to our backend infrastructure, update mechanism, etc. The project wizard is rescheduled to ship in the next service pack release of Crosslight.

Hello Support,

I just downloaded and started the new installer. Now, the installation process was successfull.

Question: What about this feature "Crosslight Project Wizard for Mac OS", which is mentoined in the Crosslight roadmap? I don't see a project wizard in Xamarin studio on the Mac.

We have found the cause of the issue. An updated installer will be posted shortly. We will keep this thread updated as the new installer is available.

Hello Support,

my Xamarin Studio version on the Mac is 5.5.4 (build 15). This should be the latest stable version.

In the attachment you find the install.log. I hope this information helps to solve the problem.

Hello Crosslight Support,

after experiencing the installation error on Windows, I now have a similar problem on Mac (Yosemite).

The installation of Crosslight 3 ends with an error (see attached screenshot) which says "Error during installation. Contact your software vendor.".

What is the problem here?

So far the release of Crosslight 3 was not really a master piece. Both installers crashed and once more I spent a day as Crosslight test engineer.
