I will need more time to investigate your issue. This issue probably has been fixed in the next build which is version 4. But, I need to ensure that I could replicate this issue on my end in the first place. Please bare with me.

Martin,

I have more info for you now. What I neglected to tell you as well was that this control is on a UXTabControl. If the UXDateTimePicker is on the first tab, the date populates as expected, but on subsequent tabs, it doesn't. Changing the SelectedTab in XAML and re-running illustrates that as long as the tab is the SelectedTab in XAML that the UXDateTimePicker populates correctly. I hope this helps you to ferret out this issue more concisely.

I have discussed with the developer team regarding your issue and it is confirmed as a bug from UXDateTimePicker control.

This issue has been fixed by the developer team and it will be available in the next hotfix build, which is build 4.0.5000.4.

Folks,

I have the following:

In my ViewModel, I can see that the value prior to being bound to the control is null when stepping through the debugger, however, the control ignores this condition and sets the value to TODAY.
