ok, it seems I had the selectedindex binded as weel and this was causing the issue - thanks

I created a simple Silverlight project; and two pages which implement client-side sorting and server-side sorting. However, I was unable to reproduce the reported problem using the project.

Please find the attached project and try to do sorting on the "Products" module (server-side sorting) or "Customers" module (client-side sorting). Please feel free to let me know if you find anything that I might miss during my attempt in order to reproduce the problem.

I have a gridview and selectitem. After sorting a column the selected item returns the orignal row position (before sorting) and not the current highlighted. Example.....

Before sorting...selected item returns Row 2

Row 1

Row2

Row 3

Row 4

After sorting.... Row 2 is still highlighted but Selected Item returns Row 3 (which is the row that is now occupied by Row 2 after sorting)

Can you please advise?
