never mind. i had 2 external xaps. the second one was licesned. the first one (displayed) was not. It appear that once an unlicensed xap is loaded then the message never goes away. once i generated the licenses.islicx and key for the 2nd xap, all "unlicensed" messages went away.

I'm testing deployment of a composite application. Main.xap is the UXShell with UXFrame, Child.xap is the external xap downloaded on demand.

I've generated a runtime license key for both Main.xap and Child.xap.

When i run the application Main.xap runtime licsense works (no "Unlicsensed Version" message is displayed.

When i click a navigation link and dynamically download Child.xap, the "Unlicensed version" message is displayed in the UXframe.

What am i doing wrong?

I'm following the same steps to generate runtime license on Main.xap.

Run Runtime Application Licensing
Select main dll for Child.xap (Child.dll).
Enter runtime license key (making sure no whitespace at end of key)
Generate license and copy.
Add licenses.islicx to Child.xap project. Paste key from step 4.
Change Build Action on licenses.islicx to Embedded Resource.
Rebuild Solution.
Use MSDeploy to Publish project to server.

What am i' missing? Any help much appreciated!
