I know that appManifest.xaml was not existed but i didn't know where it should placed.
I have created a new solution to solve this one.

Hello Jim,

Please try to check your project. The error shows clearly that it is missing AppManifest.xaml. Please ensure if the file is existed or not.

Hi

I use Intersoft WebUI studio 2011 R1, when I try to use some control like video player, uxFrame, uxFlow, etc. , I got this error :

Error 1 The system cannot find the file specified. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070002) AppManifest.xaml

Am I doing wrong ?

Hello Krzystof,

"SharedAssembly.Main.zip" is almost created correctly. However, It is only missing one file, "AppManifest.xaml". That's why the references are not properly loaded by ClientUI framework. The AppManifest.xaml should list all the referenced assemblies. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the quick analysis of my problem and the answer to my post.
I checked my sample solution, which it attached to this post and my shared package: "SharedAssembly.Main.zip" contain assembly "Intersoft.Client.UI.Aqua.dll".

Although it does not contain the assembly "Intersoft.Client.Framework.dll" because it's not set as shared and it's in each of the three xap file: "External1.xap", "External2.xap" and "StartupExternal.xap" located in the directory "ClientBin".

In my opinion shared assembly "SharedAssembly.Main.zip" is created correctly.

I can replicate your issue in here. I will forward this to our developer teams and will let you know the update.
While waiting the update, I need to let you know that 'VideoPlayer' needs some necessary assemblies such as 'Intersoft.Client.UI.Aqua.dll' and 'Intersoft.Client.Framework.dll'.
As far I checked, those assemblies are not listed inside your ShareAssembly.Main.zip.

Hello,
I've a problem with DependencyPackages. I'm trying to optimize loading xap files based on documentation:

and section: "Loading Optimization and Shared Packages" where it's decribed.

First I've created simple solution with Silverlight composite application that contains three silverlight projects: "StartupExternal" (main), "External1" and "External2".

Then created manually zip file named "SharedAssembly.Main.zip" that contains common referenced assembly. Next I've created manually a xml file named: "Applications.xml" that contains informations about application packages and dependencies.

After that i build and run application correctly but when i've removed shared common assemblies form "Externa1" and "External2" manually from xap files or in visual studio by set copy
local to false for common asseblies references, application did not working.

After startup sl application it's thrown exception: ".XamlParseException: The type 'VideoPlayer' was not found".

I attach my vs solution. What I'm doing wrong? Any idea? Any help would be appreciated.
