One of our WebDesktop sample already demonstrate theming using ISL files. The sample could be lauched from page MyWebDesktop.aspx. In order to modify the style use the "Change Desktop Style" shortcut. You could analyse the sample to know more about ISL, the theme file is located on the Themes folder.

However, in the shipped provided sample the project is missing istheme.config file. I have attached the missing file in this post. Please copy this file to the WebDesktop sample project root folder.

can i add parameters to the ISL files?

if so what is the convention? where can i find the css files for each control?

i would like to pre-set as much parameters that i can in config files

If you could view the WebDesktop sample, rendering image in tab could be seen on VariousDisplayMode.aspx.

Regarding embedding WebGrid inside WebTab, in my simple test page I could not replicate such issue. Attached is the test page I am using.

Common control properties definition need to be set on the ISL, styles could be set on CSS, however there is some limitation on CSS, certain property such as padding or margin on the control style could not be overridden by the CSS.

I have tried the “live chat” and even called your offices twice for support.

I’m evaluating your software for a project I’m doing for the company I work for and I need to show some results …

The trouble is that I had some problems installing the software and I did not manage to install the documentation I’m learning your software via trial and error.

I have encountered some minor problems that took me hours to solve.

Can you please send me a documentation file, I know your documentation section on your site is down for the moment. Any documentation for he components will help me a lot.

I have several questions please:

1. I would like to use custom tab images for webtab component.

I think I have set all I need (trial and error), took me a lot of time but I think I have managed to set all parameters, but still no tabbed images.

Rendermode = complexImages

Image directory = /common library/images/

Images settings à active left = imageFileName.gif etc.

What am I doing wrong?

2. Regarding webTab:

My tabs are part transparent, how can I resolve that?

When I put webGrid inside a Tab, and specify width in pixels or “100%” the right site of the webGrid is always truncated by +- 4%, no margin\padding settings, why is this happening?

3. Is there ant other files besides the .isl files that I can predefine values for components? I have some 20 screens I need to design with a lot of common settings for each control how can I achieve that? Is there are css files ?

one last thing, if you have any complex samples of componnents inside tab control

i will be happy to get them if its possible
