The WebTextEditor development team has managed to fix the issue. I enclosed a video that shows the correct behavior using the pre-release hotfix.

A message has been sent to your registered e-mail address. The message contains the link where you can download the pre-release hotfix of WebTextEditor regarding this issue.

Please have the hotfix tested on your end and let us know your response.

WebTextEditor development team has managed to fix the issue. The hotfix file will be released before the end of this month, at most.

I tried to repro the issue carefully based on your information, but I wasn’t able to repro it on my end.
Below are the steps-by-steps that I did:

Open “WebTextEditorSamples” project (start > All Programs > Intersoft WebUI Studio 2009 R1 SP1 > WebUI Studio for ASP.NET > WebTextEditor > C# Samples (Visual Studio 2008 Solution).
Open “InsertAndEditImage.aspx” sample file in browser (IE8).
Click “Media Gallery” from the toolbar of WebTextEditor.
Select one of the images, WebButton.png, displayed in the WebTextEditor’s task pane.
Select “Insert” from the image context menu.
After the image is inserted, a lightweight callout interface will be shown close to the image position. And then fill in the “Link URL” property.
Done.

I don’t find any border issue after step #7. Actually, there are two options showed by the image context menu, they are “Insert” and “Insert with frame”. Does the border issue can be replicated with “Insert with frame” option?

Please let me know if there is anything that missed during my attempt to repro the issue.

Hi,

When I set the Image as http link, it shows a default border around the image.

How do I get rid of the border?

There is no property in the Edit window when you set the Media Title, Media Caption, Link Url etc. to set the Border to nothing.
