Context Menu not working in IE7

The hotfix that you can download at my previous post is newer than the hotfix provided for first day of the week issue. I have tested the newer hotfix for the context menu that is not working in IE7 issue and find that the issue no longer persists with this hotfix.

Please try to apply the latest hotfix by downloading the newer hotfix from the link I gave you on my previous post and let us know if the issue still persists.

Thanks for the response. may I know the version of the web scheduler dll in the above link 3.0.1000.5 is the similar you sent for first day of the week issue(http://www.intersoftpt.com/Community/WebScheduler/Change-of-FirstDayOfWeek-causes-schedule-to-display-incorrect-date-range/).

If the both are same then the context menu is still not working in IE7 inside frame.

I’d like to inform you that WebScheduler development team has managed to fix the issue. I also have ensure that the issue no longer persist using the nightly-build hotfix of WebScheduler 3. I’ve uploaded the nightly-build hotfix to be tested on your end. Please let us know whether the nightly-build hotfix helps or not.

Please download the nightly-build hotfix of WebScheduler at here.

Note:

*The nightly-build hotfix has not been extensively tested (disclaimer on). So, we are really appreciate if you have encountered an issue can kindly give us a feedback of it.

*Please carefully follow the step-by-step shown in this link, in order to apply the hotfix manually.

*Please close all opened Microsoft Visual Studio opened project during applying the hotfix.

*After finish apply the hotfix to your development machine, please don’t forget to apply this hotfix to your own project.

*It is recommended to do ‘iisreset’; clear ‘Temporary ASP.NET Files’ in “C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files” folder; and clear browser’s cache before re-test the issue using the hotfix.

I have forwarded this minor glitch to WebScheduler development team. This minor issue is filed under work item #705.
I’ll keep you updated with any news I heard from the team regarding this.

Hi Handy,

sorry for the late response, reproduce the issue. it is working normally (i.e. if the scheduler is in a parent page). if the scheduler is inside a iframe, contextmenu is not working in comptibility mode of IE8 (IE7). Please Find out the attachment, which includes the code and a databse backup).

Yes, but it does not help me in replicating the issue. Could you send me a simple runable sample that replicates this issue?

I am using Intersoft WebUi studio 2009 R2 SP1. I am using in a webapplication projects.

ISNet.WebUI.Resources.dll - 3.0.5000.752
ISNet.WebUI.Editor.dll - 3.0.5000.752
ISNet.WebUI.WebScheduler.Resources.dll - 3.0.1000.4

It is true Handy context menu is working in livesample.

I am attaching two images of "ContextMenu_IE8.jpg" and "ContextMenu_IE7.jpg"

Hi Srikant,

May I know your WebScheduler product version? I opened our WebScheduler in livesample and the contextmenu works well. Do you have any other details such as step to reproduce this issue?
