Hi,

I am using WebGrid 9.0 and getting two same issue for IE8 with Frozen Column functionality:

1. Header Caption is not aligned with data section.

2. Data is not moving with Horizontal Scrolling, only Header part is moving.

Please let me know if is there any settings that I needs to do for this.

Hello,

May I know what WebGrid version do you use? WebGrid 7 should fully support XHTML doctype. Please try to update into our latest hotfixes (WebGrid and WebUIFramework) and let me know if the issue still persists or not.

I was facing the same type of problem in IE8 as rows are not scrolled with columns in IE8

After using the "DOCTYPE" you mentioned, the problem of row scrolling is solved, but it will result to another problems like "disabling of context menu" in IE8 and disabling function in Firefox.

Hello Nicola,

I think you are using XHTML doctype. It's true that we have layout issue if using XHTML doctype. This issue has been submitted to our developer and will fix at R2 release. For now, please use our supported doctype.

Hi all,

if I run my aspx page in Internet explorer 7 (compatibily mode) than my webgrid works fine.

If I try to run in Internet explorer 8 I got a visual error (column's width of header is different from colum's width of row ).
