Dear Martin,

The main problem has been found.
I was using a different name between DataMember and Name in WebGridColumn.
And when I changed it with a same name, it worked.

Hello Indah,

I have created a sample file that replicates your scenario. In the sample, I simply bind WebGrid to Employee table using SqlDataSource. Before you run the sample, ensure that you have Northwind.mdf which is located in [Installation Folder]\Intersoft Solutions\WebUI Studio for ASP.NET\Data.

From the sample attached, I have successfully added a new row without any Javascript error that you have encountered. The issue might come from your SqlDataSource configuration.

Could you provide your SqlDataSource configuration, so that I can help checking what causes the error on your end?

Dear IS,

I found an issue when I inserted a new data (insert only, update and delete process are success), with an autogenerated Primary Key, in your webgrid 7.

Everthing is ok in the process, but the grid found it error.

After the error notification showed, the grid still showed in Pending Changes mode, but the inserted data has been successfully saved and showed on the grid.

FYI, I used SQLDataSource.
I have captured the screen and attached it.

Is there anything I should do?
