Does the issue can be reproduced in a running simple sample? If it does, could you please kindly send us the sample to be investigated further? I’m sure the sample will helps much since we need to inspect the code, especially the javascript function.

Look forward for your response.

Client side reference error while placing webgrid7 in Microsoft Update Panel

Hello,

We are
using Webgrid7 in MOSS 2007 web part. We have implemented self referencing grid.
We also have few JavaScript functions to handle few of grid functionalities on
client side, which are running perfectly fine. We also have few buttons on the
same web part, which causes post backs. We are required to handle the post
backs using Microsoft’s AJAX Update panel and scrip manager. So, we have put all
the controls of the web part in Microsoft’s AJAX Update panel to avoid post
backs.

After adding these controls inside update panel, we are
getting null object reference error in javasctipt functions for webgrid7
classes like RootTable, GetSelectedObject() etc.

Anyone can look in to this problem and resolve this issue
ASAP?

Thanks.

G.S
