To export WebGrid to Excel 2007 (or later) format, it must handle in the export engine level.<br /><br />However, I not sure you will not get this error message, if you export data to Excel 2007 (or later) format.<br />I found a <a href="http://datapigtechnologies.com/blog/index.php/cant-export-more-than-65000-rows-to-excel-2007/">blog</a> regarding similar issue.
