Thank you for the sent sample.

I modified the sample in order to have it works in my local end. The list below shows the detail changes:

Removes MMI namespace in WebForm3.aspx.cs (line 10; line 11; and line 12) since it could not be found in my local end.
Modify the SqlConnection in WebForm3.aspx.cs (line 17 and line 18). I added Northwind.mdf file – which is available in %ProgramFiles%\Intersoft Solutions\WebUI Studio for ASP.NET\Data folder – into the App_Data folder of the project and modify the SqlConnection to the Northwind.mdf database.
Modify the SqlCommand of bindAccount() and BindBudgets() method. I’m using the Categories and Products table of Northwind.mdf as a replacement to sp_anp_accounts_select_byuser and sp_anp_budget_master_select stored procedure.
Modify each of the WebCombo columns structure.

Unfortunately, I’m still unable to reproduce the reported performance issue by using the modified sample. I enclosed the sample as attachment. Please have the sample evaluated on your end and let us hear your feedback.

For your information, I tried to reproduce the reported problem use WebForm3.aspx sample file.

I hereby attached a sample file with the site master page and the web combo with linked settings.

Actually i'm using web combo link settings to connect multiple combos where I feel the posting back of pages tend to load the combo box as each postback fires.

Please let me know how to handle this.

I have carefully created a test page based on the cmbCustomer code which is available in WebForm2.aspx page in the sent sample. However, I was unable to reproduce the slow performance reported problem in my local end.

I’m willing to advise you further but in order to do so I would need you to elaborate on your specific scenario and possibly give a step-by-step guide that I can use to observe the problematic behavior.

My webcombo is slow performing as I use it inside site master paged application, which I already posted a year back.

Still I have the same issue in webcombo performance.
