Currently, webcombo is on windows 2000 running a asp.net / vb.net (1.1) application. For now, I am moving the entire application to a windows 2003 server, keeping the 1.1 code. (By the end of the year, moving to .net 3.5).

For some reason, I can not get it installed correctly on the windows 2003 server. I have read the posts about object expected issues from 2005 and I have a commonlibrary and have the dll in the bin directory, but still no luck.

What I would like to know what else I can look at? IIS 5.0 has both 1.1 and 2.0 asp.net, what should the commonlibrary be at? Is there any special permissions in windows 2003 / iis 5.0 that would need be set? Or will newer version of the webcombo work with .net 1.1 code?
