We have recently released Crosslight 2 Update 3 which includes the fix for Crosslight Android DatePicker (CROS-426 and CROS-427) issue. Please click here to read the official release notes.

To apply this update, you are required to re-install Crosslight using the latest installer (Intersoft Studio 2014 Service Pack 1) which you can download here.

Thank you for your valuable feedback regarding the problematic behavior on DatePicker control.

I have submitted both of the problems to Crosslight development team. They are filed under two backlogs: CROS-426: DatePicker has Dark Background when Using Holo.Light Theme; and CROS-427: TextView of DatePicker gets Updated when User Cancel Changes in DatePicker.

I will keep this thread updated with any news I heard from the team regarding CROS-426 and CROS-427.

Hello Crosslight Support,

I am on the Android platform and I am using a FormActivity. The item to be displayed contains a DatePicker. Using this picker I have to questions.

1. In the manifest I say use theme Holo.Light, but the DatePicker (date text view) has a dark background as with Holo.Dark (see attached screenshot 1). How can I change the background to be white? Shouldn't this change with the theme?

2. I click on the date text view and the date picker shows up. I change the date in the picker and the date in the date text view changes accordingly. Then I say "Cancel" in the date picker, but the date in the date text view remains changed. How can I handle the "Cancel" of the date picker? Shouldn't this be handled by the date picker itself?
