Hello,
I'm testing your silverlight ClientUI MVVM Business Application template.
I've start a new project with the ClientUI MVVM Business Application template. Here I've add a new ClientUI MVVM Application and set a reference to my web and use NO start page. So I've a second xap-file in my web-part, but how can I load this xap in my business-application template with a navigation button?
What I'll test?
I load at firsttime a small xap-file, your business template. Then I'll create new xap's to show details, edit, delete etc. for product, employee, customer etc. This parts have load dynamically, when I click the navigation button. (=> the same, I do actuall with Silverlight Business Application and MEF => dynamical loading xaps)
Regards
Dirk
For such scenario, you will need to create an ApplicationPackage object with the external xap information and add it to the UXShell. Afterward, you could use the UriMapper to link the external xap in your project.
A simple demonstration using UXFrame and UXNavigationButton is attached.
Hello Glenn,
thank you, it works very well. I'm surprised how easy it is.
I'd like to renew this subject.
I've added to ClientUIExternalApp1 additional two pages: UXPage1 and UXPage2. I'd like to navigate to all of this from startup project (ClientUIAppLinkExternal).
My solution is based on example from doc: http://www.intersoftpt.com/Support/ClientUI/Documentation/#url=WalkthroughConfigureNestedNavigationFrameToSupportBrowserJournalIntegration.html
There is a strange behavior, because I have to twice click on button "Show ext App 1 ux1" to show UXPage1. The same situation is for "Show ext App1 ux2".
Maybe I made some fault in example .
Could you give me working good example.
Best regards
Andrzej
